Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif officially
launched the Student Green Card scheme a few moments earlier. Students will now
be issued this card after registration at http://greencard.ltc.gop.pk/ .
Students travelling by bus will be charged a flat fare of Rs.10 per trip, Rs.40
may be paid for 6 months and Rs.60 for 1 year. CM has specially announced that
for the first 10 days from launch, Rs.10 per day will be charged. State of the
art A/C buses are now running on different routes and the first of its kind
Metro Bus system will be launched in a few months. This student card will be
launched all over Punjab soon. A revolutionary step by CM Punjab!
